How well do people know their favorite celebrities?

Not well enough! Apparently all you need to be a celebrity now days is a couple of people to say that you are. Then everyone will fall all over you. Shows the society we live in though.
Because a man named Thomas went to a popular mall in Virginia and conducted a bit of a social experiment. Using his real first name, his middle name and with the help of a few staged friends, tons of people believed Thomas was a famous actor, including mall security.
He managed to get a security escort and even close down some stores.
Sounds a lot like something a I would do. People are sheep. You even hear them asking who he is (because they don’t know) then when they are told he’s famous, they swoon. I love it.
Congrats Thomas, and keep up the great pranks.
